The ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 G835LX-XS98 sits at the top of the ROG range, combining an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB of GDDR7 memory, 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD. It is aimed at serious gamers, streamers and creators who want desktop-class power in a laptop, and it is available at NCS Technologies in Lebanon with a 1-year warranty.

Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5090 Performance

The Core Ultra 9 275HX has 24 cores and 24 threads, a 36MB cache and boost speeds up to 5.4 GHz. It also includes an Intel AI Boost NPU rated up to 13 TOPS for on-device AI features.

The RTX 5090 Laptop GPU runs at up to 175W with ROG Boost (150W plus 25W Dynamic Boost), so it can push demanding games at high settings and speed up 3D rendering, video exports and AI workloads.

18-inch 2.5K 240Hz Display

The 18-inch 2560 x 1600 panel uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, so you get more vertical space for timelines and documents. The 240Hz refresh rate keeps fast games smooth, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage with Pantone validation makes it a solid screen for photo and video work.

Memory, Storage and Upgrades

The laptop comes with 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory in two 32GB SO-DIMM modules running in dual channel. Storage is a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, and the second M.2 PCIe slot leaves room to add more space for a large game library.

Ports, Wireless and Features

  • 2x Thunderbolt 5 with DisplayPort, power delivery and G-SYNC support
  • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (up to 10Gbps)
