The Apple MacBook Pro A1398 combines a 15.4-inch Retina display with a 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. It is a sensible pick for students, office users and people who edit photos or documents and want a large, sharp screen without paying for a new machine. This unit is available at NCS Technologies in Lebanon in used, good condition with a 3-month warranty.
Quad-Core Intel Core i7 Performance
The 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 can reach up to 3.4GHz with Turbo Boost and has 6MB of shared L3 cache. That gives enough headroom for multitasking with many browser tabs, office apps, video calls and light photo editing.
Paired with 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L memory, the system stays responsive when several apps are open. The 256GB PCIe-based flash storage starts up quickly and loads files much faster than a traditional hard drive.
15.4-inch Retina Display
The LED-backlit IPS panel runs at 2880 x 1800 pixels, or 220 pixels per inch, so text looks crisp and photos show fine detail. IPS technology keeps colors consistent when the screen is viewed from the side.
Intel Iris Pro Graphics handle the display, everyday video playback and basic creative work.
